Workshop on the Role of Food in Prevention and Management of Cancer was organized on World Cancer Day on 4th February, 2020

The workshop was organized by Department of Food and nutrition, Institute of Home Economics, in collaboration with Association of Food Scientists & Technologists (India)-Delhi Chapter.
The distinguished panelists and speakers included Mrs. Jyotsna Govil, Vice Chairman, Indian Cancer Society; Dr. L.R. Sharma, Addl. M.S., Apollo Hospital; Mrs. Indu Rani, Campaign & Advocacy Manager, Indo-Global Social Service Society; Dr. Surender Singh Ghonkrokta, Secretary General, Centre for Quality and Food Safety and faculty from Department of Food and Nutrition, at IHE.
