Ms. Archana Bhagat

Experience:Ms Archana Bhagat has been teaching in the college since 1996. Prior to joining the institute, she taught at Lady Irwin College for five years. She has been teaching various facets of Foods and Nutrition to students pursuing post-graduate, Dietetics and Public Health Nutrition and under-graduate programmes. She has guided several M.Sc. dissertations and written chapters for CSIR. She has also conducted classes in Nutrition and Health Education for the School of Open Learning, DU and for the Masters program in Food Service Management of IGNOU. Her areas of interest lie in the field of Institutional Food Management, Therapeutic Nutrition especially diabetes and Product development. She is the recipient of the National Scholarship of the Ministry of Education and Culture and the ICAR Fellowship for research for post-graduate studies.

Experience:Ms. Deepshikha has been teaching in the college since 2009. Her areas of interest are food safety, food processing, food science and quality control. She has guided M.Sc. dissertation titled ‘A study on GHP of unorganized dairies and their effect on product quality’. Prior to joining the college she has worked with Food Safety & Standards Authority of India, MOHFW as Research Associate. She did a project on “Shelf life and ripening behavior of mangoes (five varieties)” supported by Bharti Del Monte Pvt. Ltd. She is a life member of Nutrition Society of India (NSI).
